It ought to be noted though
that in Eastern thought
a koan is of the nature of
that which transcends
both Logic and Reason
It invites no rational
solution since its
function is merely
to point to the
nature of
Ultimate
TruthIn contrast
as is well
illustrated
by this text
any simple Mu
response is perfectly
capable of a logical
and rational solutionThis solution confronts
the individual speaking
subject with the nature of
their own limited truth and
prepares them just like any
Zen koan, for their return to
that state of mUltimate
Truth in which "all are
momentarily
placed"
